Is Liverpool Street on the Elizabeth Line
Well, for starters, it’s massive. The platforms are long, wide, and echo-y. You’ll feel very small and very late simultaneously.
It connects you directly to Canary Wharf in about 10 minutes. Yes, 10 minutes. You could be sipping overpriced oat milk latte in the financial district before your coffee even gets cold.
And it goes the other way too: straight to Paddington, Heathrow, and even Reading. Reading! Because apparently, London wants you to visit the countryside now.
The Vibe Down There
It’s weirdly… quiet. The trains themselves hum rather than screech. It feels like a secret society of punctual people.

The escalators are endless. You’ll think you’ve reached the bottom, but no—there’s another flight. It’s like the escalator engineer was on a personal vendetta against cardio.
But the air conditioning works. That alone is worth the price of the ticket during a heatwave. I’m not kidding—I’ve seen people just standing on the platform for five minutes to cool down. No shame.
