Mablethorpe Camping and Caravanning Club Site
This site is fun because it’s real. It’s not try-hard. It doesn’t have a spa or a fake beach. It has a small shop with ice creams, a friendly warden, and a field. That’s it. And it’s perfect. You can spend the whole day just watching the clouds race.
It’s also incredibly easy to get to. No mountain passes. No scary roads. Just a straight line to the coast. You can be there from the Midlands before you finish your first audiobook.
And don’t forget the Stiltskin Festival that sometimes blows through. No, seriously, the local entertainment is wonderfully odd. One minute it’s bingo, the next it’s a tribute band. You never know what you’ll get.

The Unwritten Rules
You must walk to the beach at sunset. It’s not optional. The sun drops into the sea like a giant orange coin. It makes the whole caravan park look like a golden toy town. Bring a hoodie.
Also, try the local fish and chips. Find the best one. It’s a pilgrimage. The batter is crunchier than your aunt’s attitude. And eat it on the seawall, watching the dogs chase the waves.
