Black Madonna Shrine and Grottos Photos
So, who was Brother Bronislaus Luszcz, and what inspired him to build this amazing shrine? Well, it turns out that he was a Polish immigrant who came to the United States in the early 20th century. He was a skilled stonemason, and he used his talents to create the intricate carvings and sculptures that adorn the shrine.
The Black Madonna Shrine And Grottos are steeped in symbolism, with each grotto representing a different aspect of Catholicism. You'll find images of saints and angels everywhere, as well as intricate mosaics made from thousands of tiny tiles. It's a feast for the eyes, to say the least!
