Battle Normanhurst Court Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite
The main wash block is modern, clean, and has those fancy heated floors. It’s genuinely lovely. You could probably eat your dinner off the floor, but please don’t. That’s weird.
Then there’s the second block, which is… cosier. Let’s call it "rustic." The showers have a mysterious water pressure situation. One minute you’re being power-washed, the next you’re drizzling in a sad trickle. It adds character, I suppose.

Pro tip: Hit the main block early. Or bring a raincoat for the shower. You’ll thank me later.
The Pub: A Short, Wobbly Walk
There’s a pub right outside the main gate. The Horseshoes. It’s not fancy, but it’s alive. The beer is cold, the chips are hot, and the locals will definitely stare at you. But in a friendly, "who are you?" sort of way.
They do a cracking Sunday roast. And if you’re lucky, they’ll have a live folk band. Nothing says "holiday" like listening to someone play an accordion while you’re eating gravy.
You can stagger back to your pitch after a few pints. The hill will sober you right up. Trust me. It’s nature’s breathalyzer.
