Famous Generals in Ww2
著者: 田中 結衣
A German general who earned respect from his enemies? That takes serious charisma. Rommel was known for his aggressive tank tactics and chivalrous conduct in North Africa.
He often drove his command vehicle right to the front lines, dodging bullets with a flair that screams action movie. His motto: “Be an example to your men.”
Cultural reference: If Rommel were alive today, he’d be the charismatic startup founder who takes his team camping to boost morale—just with more sand and fewer spreadsheets.
Fun Little Fact
Rommel was forced to take poison by Hitler after a failed assassination plot. Despite his role in the Nazi regime, his tactical brilliance is studied in military academies worldwide.
